Role Overview 🚀

As Legal Counsel, Nordics, you will support our Nordic business and wider legal function by providing practical, commercially focused legal advice. Commercial contracting will be your primary area of responsibility, alongside exposure to corporate governance, regulated entity matters, and a variety of operational legal questions. You will work in a lean, fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and collaborating with Nordic stakeholders and the wider UK legal team.

This is an opportunity to broaden your in-house legal experience, take meaningful ownership, and continue developing with appropriate guidance and support.

Responsibilities 🤘

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements, including SaaS agreements, tender documents, and contract amendments.

• Provide practical legal advice to Nordic business stakeholders, balancing legal risk with commercial priorities.

• Manage a varied workload and prioritise matters according to risk, urgency, and business impact.

• Conduct independent legal research using internal resources, external sources, and approved AI tools.

• Support corporate governance, signing-authority, and authorisation matters using established internal processes and guidance.

• Assist with legal matters relating to regulated entities and communicate with authorities or regulators when required.

• Collaborate with the Lead Counsel Nordics and the wider UK legal team, retaining ownership while escalating matters appropriately.

• Approach unfamiliar legal and operational matters with curiosity, sound judgement, and a practical problem-solving mindset.

What are we looking for? 🔎

• Approximately three or more years of relevant legal experience, with practical exposure to commercial contracting.

• Experience in commercial contracting, including drafting, reviewing and negotiating commercial agreements

• A university degree in Law, such as a Swedish Master of Laws

• Full professional fluency in English and Swedish, spoken and written.

• Comfort working at pace, balancing competing priorities, and taking ownership of unfamiliar matters.

• Strong commercial judgement and the ability to suggest practical solutions.

• A collaborative working style, and a commitment to continuous learning and long-term professional growth.

Bonus points for:

• Previous in-house legal experience within a technology, SaaS, or similar.

• Exposure to corporate governance, signing authorities, or company-secretarial matters.

• Experience working in a Nordic legal environment.
