Tasks & Responsibilities:
The Legal Counsel shall provide in-house advisory and legal assistance in following matters:
- Provide support in contracting, i.e., drafting, reviewing and commenting of various types of contracts, both client and vendor matters.
- Legal support in other legal areas, such as in the civil law, corporate matters, employment law and regulatory compliance.
- Taking part in (regular) internal reporting processes (including monitoring legislative changes in specific law areas and performing ad hoc legal research).
- IPR registration and disputes
- Litigations, arbitration, and other disputes
- Contribution to the internal knowledge management system
As Legal Counsel you will ensures all local Italian internal rules, policies and standard documents are fully in line with Company Policies and other rules and standards and will coordinates work handled by approved external counsels; other counsels’ involvement where appropriate (case-by-case and with prior approval of Vice President Finance & Control) and their supervision.
You will also be responsible for the department cost center budgeting within the Trelleborg Wheel Systems Italy structure, including the proper cost allocation to all relevant entities.
Key requirements:
- University Degree in Law
- At least 5 years of experience in providing full scope of in-house legal services
- Excellent English language written and verbal skills
- Experience in working at multi-national and corporate environment
- Organizational, Leadership, Communication and Influencing skills (“Trusted Advisor” proven track records)
- Teamwork, business acumen, customer focus, empathy, emotional intelligence
