Our products help people live independently in their own homes – and this role shapes how we grow that business responsibly. You’ll work on practical issues across an international business and help shape how we respond to changing legal, regulatory and stakeholder expectations.

You’ll join our Legal, Risk & Compliance team, reporting directly to the Group General Counsel, with regular exposure to senior leaders across the Group. You’ll work across functions and jurisdictions, helping the business understand evolving requirements and turn them into practical, effective ways of working. You’ll help strengthen our compliance framework, support ESG initiatives and ensure legal and regulatory obligations are managed consistently and effectively across the Group.

This is a varied role offering international exposure, direct mentoring and structured support to build a recognised specialism in these areas.

What you’ll be doing

Compliance & Sustainability – with a chance to build, influence and work directly with clients across the business as a key member of the team from start.

• Interpret legal, regulatory and sustainability requirements and support their practical implementation across the business.
• Develop, maintain and roll out compliance policies, procedures and frameworks.
• Support compliance monitoring, risk assessments, audits and investigations.
• Advise on third-party due diligence and supply chain compliance activities.
• Deliver compliance training, awareness programmes and horizon-scanning initiatives.
• Support reporting, governance processes and continuous improvement activities.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll join as significant new requirements take effect across our markets, and help decide how we respond. From day one, you’ll work directly with colleagues across the business, take ownership of varied projects and build practical approaches that work across an international Group.

• Turn evolving compliance and sustainability requirements into practical business action

• Lead projects to develop and roll out policies, procedures and compliance frameworks

• Get involved in monitoring, risk assessments, audits and investigations

• Strengthen third-party due diligence and responsible supply chain practices

• Create and deliver training that makes complex requirements clear and relevant

• Track emerging risks and developments, helping the business stay ahead

• Improve reporting, governance and the way compliance is managed across the Group

Key Areas of Focus

You’ll develop broad experience across the evolving compliance and sustainability landscape, providing practical legal advice in areas including:

• Data protection and privacy

• Anti-bribery, corruption and fraud prevention

• ESG and sustainability governance

• Competition law, consumer protection and wider regulatory compliance

• Trade compliance, sanctions and export controls

• Modern slavery, human rights and supply chain due diligence

What we’re looking for

• 2-4 years’ PQE

• Some experience of compliance, ESG or sustainability matters, with a genuine interest in developing deeper expertise

• Commercial legal experience gained in private practice or in-house

• Ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and provide practical, business-focused advice

• Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
