Welcome to Noviwest.

Noviwest is one of the two standalone entities created from dsm-firmenich Animal Nutrition & Health, as part of the divestment to CVC Capital.

Noviwest brings together a strong vitamin heritage with deep expertise in vitamins, carotenoids and aroma ingredients — creating the foundation for a focused, agile stand-alone company. Here, you can help shape a business that stays close to its markets, builds trusted customer relationships and delivers reliable, high-quality and sustainable solutions through a fit-for-purpose production and supply organization.

If you are looking for a role where your contribution can have real visibility and impact as the company evolves, Noviwest offers the opportunity to be part of that journey from the inside.

Take ownership of financial controlling and accounting for our Swiss Principal Legal Entity. In this hands-on role, you’ll manage planning and forecasting, performance and variance analysis, closing and reporting, compliance, and financial governance. You’ll stay close to the numbers and the business, while supporting and coordinating Legal Entity Controllers across our global Noviwest organization.

Please note that a good conversational level of German is a mandatory requirement for this position. Candidates must be comfortable communicating in German in a professional environment.

Your key responsibilities:

  • Own full financial responsibility for the Swiss Principal Legal Entity, ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance, and financial integrity.
  • Responsible for balance sheet management, reconciliations, and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of group and statutory financial statements.
  • Ensure agreed services with Financial Shared Services and external service providers are delivered to the required quality and performance standards.
  • Provide guidance and oversight on complex accounting matters, journal entries, provisions, accruals, and period-end closing activities.
  • Lead and coordinate the Commercial Legal Entity Controlling function globally, driving standardization, governance, continuous improvement, and capability development across legal entities.
  • Provide evidence for the Internal Control Framework and drive the timely remediation of control deficiencies and audit findings.
  • Partner closely with Finance Business Partners, Tax, Treasury, Shared Services, external auditors, and regulatory authorities to ensure effective financial governance.

We Offer

  • A unique opportunity to shape and lead the Commercial Legal Entity Controlling function across a global organization
  • A leadership role with direct impact on financial governance, compliance, and business performance
  • Exposure to senior stakeholders across Finance, Tax, Treasury, FP&A, Shared Services, and external regulatory bodies
  • The chance to contribute to a dynamic transformation environment, including carve-outs, integrations, and process optimization initiatives.

    You Bring

    • 8+ years of experience in Legal Entity Controlling, with strong hands-on Accounting experience, Audit, or Finance leadership roles within multinational organizations
    • Demonstrated leadership capabilities, whether through people management, project leadership, or coaching others, combined with the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
    • Strong expertise in hands-on accounting, IFRS, statutory reporting, balance sheet management, internal controls, legal entity governance, and multi-jurisdiction compliance
    • Experience in principal business models, intercompany environments, and finance transformation initiatives, including carve-outs and integrations
    • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics; professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, Swiss CPA, or equivalent) is a strong advantage
    • Strong SAP and financial systems knowledge, combined with excellent communication skills in English
    • A good conversational level of German (C1) is a mandatory requirement for this position
