About Amadeus

At Amadeus, we power better journeys through travel technology by creating new possibilities in the world of travel.

We are a global team of more than 22,000 professionals representing over 150 nationalities and working across 100 offices worldwide. Within our France entity of more than 4,000 professionals, we value diverse perspectives and experiences because they contribute to better discussions, decisions and outcomes for evryone.

Our Team

Within our People & Culture organization, the France Employment Legal and Employee Relations team supports the business on all aspects of French employment and labour law.

The team is organized around two main areas of expertise: Individual Employment Relations and Collective Labour Relations, under the supervision of the Head of Legal and Employee Relations France. While each team member has a primary area of focus, we operate as one integrated team. Depending on business priorities and workload, team members may support activities across both individual and collective employment matters.

The Role

We are looking for an experienced Labor Relations Legal Counsel to join our France Employment Legal and Employee Relations team for a 6-month fixed-term contract, with a primary focus on collective labour relations.

This position requires demonstrated experience in French labour law, collective bargaining, project management and strategic thinking. You will work closely with stakeholders across Legal, Human Resources (HR) and the business to support key employee relations initiatives and transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the preparation, negotiation and drafting of company agreements and related legal documentation, working closely with HR and Employee Relations stakeholders.
  • Advise on and support CSE (Social and Economic Committee) information and consultation processes, including interactions with employee representatives and external experts.
  • Provide legal guidance on collective labour law matters such as reorganizations, workforce transformation, employment and skills planning, working conditions, and other employee-impacting projects.
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional projects involving Legal, HR and business stakeholders, ensuring alignment and timely delivery.
  • Monitor developments in French employment law and case law, provide pragmatic and risk-based recommendations to management, and support individual employment matters when required.

What Will Make You Successful

  • Strong expertise in French collective labour law combined with a pragmatic and business-oriented approach.
  • Ability to move effectively between legal analysis, negotiation strategy and project execution.
  • Capability to anticipate risks, challenge assumptions and develop practical solutions in a rapidly evolving environment.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with HR teams, management and employee representatives.
  • Adaptability, sound judgment, client-service orientation and the ability to manage sensitive matters with confidentiality and professionalism.

Ideal Candidate

  • Master's degree (Bac+5) in French Employment/Labour Law; DPRT, DJCE or similar specialization is an advantage.
  • 5 to 10 years of employment law experience gained within a law firm and/or the legal department of a large international organization, ideally in the technology sector.
  • Significant experience in collective labour relations, collective bargaining and drafting company agreements.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple stakeholders across complex, cross-functional initiatives.
  • Excellent legal drafting, analytical and reasoning skills, combined with strong organizational abilities, attention to detail and reliability.
  • Comfortable working autonomously in a complex, fast-paced matrix environment.
  • Resilient and able to manage multiple sensitive topics simultaneously while balancing competing priorities.
  • Fluent in French and professionally proficient in English, both written and spoken.
  • Interest in technology and emerging trends; knowledge of the Syntec Collective Bargaining Agreement (CCN Syntec) would be a plus.
