Level 2.5/3 IT Support (MSP Experience)

Level 2.5/3 IT Support Technician Remote (Within South Africa) Independent Contractor Hours:  Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST Candidates must be available to work most Sundays We are seeking a skilled and proactive Level 2.5/3 IT Support Technician to join our growing IT team. This role is ideal for someone with strong troubleshooting abilities, hands-on technical support experience, and a good understanding of automation and scripting within a managed services environment. Key Responsibilities Provide Level 2.5/3 technical support to end users and clients Troubleshoot and resolve escalated IT support tickets efficiently Manage and maintain support requests through the ticketing system Create and maintain basic automation scripts to improve operational efficiency Work with ConnectWise Automate for monitoring, automation, and system management Utilize standard PowerShell scripting for administrative and automation tasks Support and maintain Windows environments, user accounts, devices, and network-related issues Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth IT operations and high service standards Requirements Previous experience in a Level 2.5/3 IT Support or MSP environment Experience with ConnectWise Automate Working knowledge of PowerShell scripting Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Excellent communication and customer service abilities Ability to manage multiple tickets and priorities in a fast-paced environment Reliable, organized, and team-oriented Working Hours Sunday through Thursday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM EST Candidates must be available to work most Sundays Some flexibility may be required, including potentially splitting shifts between Friday and Sunday depending on scheduling needs
