Licensed Accountant (U.S.)

Latam Partners is seeking a detail-oriented and licensed U.S. Accountant to join our growing back-office team. This role is ideal for a professional with strong accounting knowledge, familiarity with U.S. tax regulations, and a passion for supporting international businesses. Salary : Starting at $3,000 USD/month Location : Remote or hybrid (LATAM-based office support available) Contract : Full-time, long-term Start Date : Immediate Key Responsibilities Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports for accuracy and compliance with U.S. GAAP and tax regulations. Ensure timely monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes. Handle accounts payable/receivable, payroll processing, and bank reconciliations. Maintain records of financial transactions by establishing accounts and posting transactions. Prepare tax returns and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local tax regulations. Work closely with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support business operations. Maintain client confidentiality and ensure the highest standards of financial integrity. Qualifications CPA or equivalent active license to practice in the United States. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 3+ years of experience in accounting or financial reporting roles. Experience with QuickBooks or other major accounting software. Strong knowledge of U.S. tax code and accounting standards. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus but not required. Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and communication skills.
