Salary: $41.36 Hourly POSITION SUMMARY Under the direction of Assistant Program Manager, the Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Supervisor Works with the Ho’ōla U-Telehealth- Behavioral Health team to treat and manage patients with emotional and/or health problems effectively and efficiently; this could include dual interviews with team members. Supervises Behavioral Health Fellows by engaging in weekly individual and group supervision regarding ongoing clinical cases, and reviewing fellows’ clinical documentations, corrects as needed, and signs off on all cases. Please see the attached job description for more information. Location: MUST RESIDE in Hawaii, 100% Remote This is a part-time position. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS Education/Training/Experience Minimum: Master’s degree in Social Work or Counseling from an accredited college or university of recognized standing, with work in a Social and/or Health Sciences field. Licensed and eligible for billing with insurance in the State of Hawaiʻi. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with other faculty, staff, and patients Demonstrated ability to supervise and work as part of a multidisciplinary team, which includes strong leadership skills, management skills, and knowledge regarding integrated behavioral health. Demonstrated proficiency in motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy interventions to promote health behavior change. Professional experience in the implementation of programs and/or research in the Health sciences field and working with Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander patients. Basic understanding of Hawaiian history, culture, and language as it relates to student learning and engagement, intergenerational trauma and pathways of resilience. Experience delivering culturally responsive assessments and treatment strategies. Preferred: Five (5) or more years experience working in healthcare or community mental health setting. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of a wide range of developing and emerging concepts, principles, and issues facing Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders. Skills Knowledge Minimum: Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing. Ability to establish positive public relations and to interact effectively with a diverse array of professionals and patients. Ability to manage a large and varied caseload. Ability to work on a multi-disciplinary team.
