Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) – Hybrid (NYC & Remote)

Thriving Center of Psychology seeks Licensed Mental Health Counselors (LMHC) who are passionate about making a difference. Join our team in a full-time, salaried position with a a hybrid schedule, working remotely with 1 day a week in one of our NYC offices. This is a W2 employee role with comprehensive benefits, a consistent caseload, and belonging to a clinician-led community.

You must already hold an active, clear New York LMHC license. We are unable to accept candidates still working toward licensure at this time.

What You'll Do:

• Deliver individual psychotherapy to adults across diverse concerns, both in-person and via telehealth

• Practice with evidence-based modalities, including CBT, DBT, and ACT

• Participate in weekly case consultations and ongoing peer support

• Maintain concise and compliant clinical documentation

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team (LCSWs, LMHCs, LMFTs)

About the Role

• Work a 40-hour week with a client goal of 27 sessions

• Serve adult populations (18+)

• Contribute to an inclusive, evidence-based clinical environment

Ideal Candidate

• Current, clear New York LMHC license (required)

• Master’s in mental health counseling

• Minimum one year of independent outpatient therapy experience

• Skilled at managing a full adult caseload

• Team-oriented, invested in delivering high-quality care

• Must reside in NY or NJ
