Key Responsibilities
Actuarial Modelling
- Develop, maintain, and validate life insurance actuarial models with a focus on capital and asset side modelling.
- Perform model development, testing, validation, and ensure compliance with model governance standards.
- Support valuation, projection, experience investigation, and assumption-setting exercises. Analyze model results and provide actionable business insights.
Financial Reporting & Forecasting
- Support IFRS 17, Solvency, USGAAP, and other actuarial reporting requirements.
- Prepare long-term cashflow projections and profitability analysis. Perform impact assessment of assumption changes and model updates.
Model Validation & Controls
- Conduct model reviews, reconciliations, and validation testing. Investigate model discrepancies and recommend improvements.
- Analyze model point data, assumptions, and calculation methodologies.
Stakeholder Management
- Collaborate with actuarial, finance, risk, and technology teams.
- Support client engagements and communicate modelling results effectively.
- Prepare technical documentation and presentations for management.
Required Skills & Experience
- 4-7 years of actuarial modelling experience within the life insurance industry.
- Strong understanding of life insurance products, cashflows, actuarial principles and model controls.
- Experience in actuarial valuation, financial reporting, and projection modelling.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Technical Skills
- Experience with MG-ALFA actuarial modelling platform will be a significant advantage.
- Knowledge of Prophet, AXIS, or other actuarial modelling software is beneficial.
- Exposure to Python, VBA, SQL, or other automation tools is desirable.
- Understanding of actuarial model governance and validation frameworks

- Asset-liability cashflow projections.

Capital Modelling
Ideal Candidate
A motivated actuarial professional with strong life insurance modelling expertise, progressing towards actuarial qualification, and capable of delivering high-quality modelling solutions. Experience in MG-ALFA, ALM Modelling, Capital Modelling, and US Life Insurance will be considered a significant advantage
