Job Description
The purpose of this assignment is to provide operational
support for the administration of master data within LIMS LabWare Version 7.
This is not a development or implementation role. The focus
is on the administration and configuration of the data required for the proper
functioning of the system.
The contingent worker must already be operational in
LabWare. Training will only be provided on internal processes and the way the
system is used within the organisation. No technical training on LabWare will be provided.

Key Responsibilities
- Administer
and maintain master data within LabWare Version 7
- Configure
analytical methods
- Configure
specifications
- Configure
sampling plans
- Manage
and maintain LabWare formats and templates
- Ensure
data configurations align with business processes and procedures
- Interact
with end users to understand business needs
- Ensure
data quality, consistency, and compliance
Typical Day
- Creating
and updating master data in LabWare
- Configuring
methods, specifications, and sampling plans
- Reviewing
and addressing user requests
- Interacting
with laboratory and business users
- Verifying
the accuracy and consistency of configured data
- Managing
and prioritizing system-related requests
Requirements
Ideally a Medior LIMS System Administrator, although
senior profiles may also be considered if aligned with the budget.
Must-Have
- Hands-on
experience with LIMS LabWare
- Strong
knowledge of LabWare Version 7 or a very similar version
- Experience
in master data administration and configuration
- Experience
with LabWare formats and templates
- Understanding
of analytical methods
- Understanding
of specifications and sampling plans
- Ability
to understand business processes and procedures
- Ability
to work autonomously with minimal onboarding
- Experience
interacting with end users
Nice-to-Have
- Experience
within a pharmaceutical or regulated environment
- Laboratory
operations knowledge
- Previous
UCB experience
- Fluent
French, due to interactions with French-speaking users
- Professional
English
Languages
- French
strongly preferred
- Excellent
English-only candidates may be considered, but French-speaking candidates
will have an advantage when skills are otherwise comparable.
