Position: Linux Systems / Infrastructure Engineer – EMEA Job Description: Linux Systems / Infrastructure Engineer Location: Paris, Courbevoie Arrow's Enterprise Computing Solutions (ECS) business is a global technology enablement company that brings innovative IT solutions to the market to solve complex business challenges. Responsibilities in this position: Administer, patch, troubleshoot and performance-tune Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) environments at enterprise scale. Design, implement and maintain Linux-based infrastructure solutions, from development through stabilization and documentation. Deploy and operate Red Hat OpenShift / Kubernetes platforms, including cluster and workload management. Develop and maintain infrastructure automation using Ansible, Bash and Python. Administer VMware vSphere and Red Hat virtualization environments. Manage Linux identity services and integration with Microsoft Active Directory. Support backup, disaster recovery and data protection solutions, including Zerto and Rubrik. Monitor infrastructure availability, performance and capacity, proactively identifying and resolving issues. Participate in incident resolution, including critical infrastructure incidents when required. Collaborate with infrastructure, security and application teams within a large multinational IT environment. Your Profile: At least 5 years of hands-on experience working with Linux, ideally Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), in enterprise environments. Strong experience in Linux administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning and infrastructure lifecycle management. Practical experience with Red Hat OpenShift and/or Kubernetes. Experience with Ansible and scripting in Bash and/or Python. Experience with VMware vSphere and/or Red Hat virtualization. Knowledge of Linux and Microsoft Active Directory integration. Familiarity with backup and disaster recovery solutions such as Zerto and Rubrik. Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills. Understanding of infrastructure security, monitoring and capacity planning. Good communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in a large multinational IT environment. Interest in automation, containerization and modern enterprise infrastructure technologies.
