Litigation Specialist Personal Injury Law · California Clients · Remote ABOUT THE CLIENT We're a Beverly Hills-based personal injury law firm representing accident and injury victims across California. The firm handles cases spanning auto accidents, premises liability, catastrophic injury, and wrongful death, all on a contingency basis, no fee unless the client wins. We're is known for aggressive, trial-ready advocacy: rather than settle early for less, the firm builds cases toward litigation when that's what it takes to secure the right outcome for the client. ROLE OVERVIEW We're hiring a Litigation Specialist to take full ownership of the litigation workload once a personal injury case is filed. The goal: the attorney's only involvement in a litigated case should be showing up to court hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial. Everything that gets a case to that point, drafting, filing, discovery, and motion practice, is run by you, independently and without needing to be chased. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Draft and file lawsuits (complaints) to initiate litigation on personal injury cases Propound written discovery requests and prepare responses to discovery received from opposing counsel Draft and respond to motions and other litigation pleadings Track litigation deadlines and court rules to keep every filed case moving on schedule Prepare case files and materials so the attorney arrives at hearings, depositions, mediations, and trial fully ready, without doing the underlying legwork themselves Coordinate with the Case Manager on case history and documentation needed for litigation REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & SKILLS Non-negotiable honesty and integrity; good-faith mistakes are never held against you, but dishonesty is disqualifying Track record of owning work end-to-end with minimal oversight; once something is handed off, it gets done without follow-up or reminders 2+ years of hands-on experience in California personal injury law specifically, not general PI or other practice areas Direct experience drafting and filing lawsuits, propounding and responding to discovery, and drafting or responding to motions in California civil litigation Working knowledge of California civil procedure and court filing requirements Highly organized, deadline-driven, and comfortable managing a litigation caseload with minimal supervision Paralegal certification or equivalent formal litigation training is a plus IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE This role calls for someone who treats deadlines and procedure as non-negotiable and doesn't need reminding twice. You're comfortable owning a litigation caseload solo, drafting confidently, and making sure nothing falls through the cracks between filing and trial. You take the pressure off the attorney's plate by default, not because you were asked to. WORK SCHEDULE 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM Pacific Time, Monday – Friday
