Job Description
NetImpact Strategies has an opportunity for a LMS Administrator to support the administration, reliability, and effective use of learning management system technologies for a federal healthcare training program. This role works with training coordinators, instructional designers, instructors, technical support teams, and Government platform owners to maintain course availability, support learner access, resolve learning-system issues, and produce accurate training records. The administrator supports approved course publishing, enrollment, reporting, and system-change activities within assigned permissions while helping ensure learning technologies support program requirements and scheduled instruction; this position is remote.
Responsibilities
• Support day-to-day administration of Government-approved learning management systems and associated training technologies.
• Configure and maintain course catalogs, learning paths, prerequisites, assignments, and completion requirements within authorized administrative permissions.
• Coordinate learner enrollment, role-based access, and administrative permissions with designated training and Government platform owners.
• Upload, configure, test, and publish approved computer-based training packages, assessments, reference materials, and course updates.
• Validate course launch, navigation, bookmarking, assessment scoring, and completion reporting before releasing new or revised learning content.
• Troubleshoot learner access, enrollment, course-launch, and completion-record issues; document resolutions and coordinate escalations with platform support teams.
• Monitor course availability and administrative issues that could affect scheduled training; communicate risks and coordinate corrective actions.
• Maintain accurate training records and prepare enrollment, completion, overdue-training, and course-utilization reports.
• Reconcile discrepancies among learning-system records, instructor attendance reports, and other approved training records.
• Support testing of authorized platform changes, content updates, and interfaces; document results and coordinate required approvals.
• Maintain administrative procedures, troubleshooting guides, configuration records, and an auditable history of course and system changes.
• Protect learner information and follow applicable privacy, security, accessibility, and records-management requirements.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in information technology, education, instructional technology, business, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
• At least three years of experience supporting learning management systems, learning technologies, or closely related application administration.
• Experience administering course catalogs, enrollments, assignments, permissions, and training-completion records.
• Working knowledge of SCORM-based course packages and troubleshooting digital learning delivery and completion issues.
• Experience testing and publishing approved learning content and maintaining controlled course versions.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and the ability to validate training data, reconcile discrepancies, and produce clear reports.
• Strong troubleshooting, documentation, customer-service, and coordination skills.
• Working knowledge of accessibility, privacy, and security considerations for learning systems and learner records.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required Government system access and satisfy applicable Tier 3 background investigation requirements.
• Ability to complete required privacy, security, and information-handling training. No specific professional certification is required.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience supporting Joint Knowledge Online or comparable enterprise learning management systems.
• Familiarity with federal healthcare or other regulated training environments.
• Experience troubleshooting SCORM content produced using tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, or Adobe Captivate.
• Familiarity with approved data exports, application interfaces, reporting tools, and learning-system integrations.
• Experience working with instructional designers, training coordinators, and geographically dispersed instructors.
• Relevant learning-platform, information technology, or application-support certification.
Location Requirement
Remote. Coordinate with geographically dispersed training and technical teams and support scheduled course releases, system testing, and training activities across applicable time zones. Routine travel is not anticipated.
