LMS/Moodle Expert

We are looking for an LMS/Moodle Expert to join our team and support the administration, optimisation, and continuous development of enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) platforms. In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of LMS/Moodle environments, including platform administration, configuration, customisation, migrations, troubleshooting, performance optimisation, and user support. You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable learning platforms while supporting migration projects and the continuous improvement of digital learning services. Key Responsibilities Administer, configure, and maintain LMS/Moodle environments Install and configure LMS/Moodle platforms from scratch Customise platform settings, themes, plugins, and integrations Support LMS/Moodle version upgrades and migration projects Coordinate and execute course and content migration activities Troubleshoot platform issues, plugin conflicts, performance problems, and technical bugs Manage courses, users, roles, permissions, enrolments, and learning activities Configure assessments, resources, and course structures Extract and analyse learning statistics, reports, and user activity data Support platform security, backups, maintenance, and performance optimisation Define technical requirements for hosting environments and contribute to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders to ensure successful platform delivery and continuous improvement Strong experience administering LMS/Moodle platforms Experience installing and configuring LMS/Moodle from scratch Experience customising LMS/Moodle themes, plugins, and platform settings Experience supporting LMS/Moodle version upgrades and migration projects Experience managing learning content, courses, and user administration Experience troubleshooting LMS/Moodle technical issues and performance problems Experience with reporting, analytics, and learning statistics Experience with LMS/Moodle security, backups, maintenance, and performance optimisation Understanding of LMS architecture and e-learning standards Ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English Nice to Have Experience supporting large-scale learning platforms other than LMS/Moodle Experience with hosting environments and infrastructure planning Experience defining technical requirements for platform migrations Experience with cloud-based LMS environments Experience working with EU Institutions or other international organisations You will be a great candidate for us if you Enjoy managing and optimising enterprise learning platforms Have a proactive approach to troubleshooting and continuous improvement Can successfully manage complex migration and upgrade projects Are detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality solutions Collaborate effectively with technical and business stakeholders Thrive in dynamic and international environments Why join inventYOU Work on enterprise-scale learning platform projects Contribute to large migration and digital learning initiatives Collaborate with experienced international teams Develop your expertise in modern LMS technologies and e-learning solutions Be part of innovative and impactful digital transformation projects
