Job Description:
At Regions, the Loan Servicing Escrow Specialist maintains escrow accounts administered by the loan servicing group.
Primary Responsibilities
Receives and provides escrow analysis in accordance with the Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA), Housing and Urban Development (HUD), and Federal Housing Authority (FHA) guidelines
Audits vendors including tax, flood, hazard, and other escrow vendors
Completes escrow processing including timely payment of taxes and insurance, customer statements, and annual analysis
Completes escrow research requests
Monitors and tracks flood insurance for escrowed loans
Applies and enforces compliance/regulatory matters
Communicates with customers to assist with various escrow questions as needed
Investigates and clears outages on general ledger accounts
Ensures accuracy and integrity of escrow trailers on loans
Processes private mortgage insurance (PMI) waivers and payments
Ensures compliance with risk management programs, rules and regulations, and cybersecurity practices; identifies opportunities for and supports process improvements; applies disciplined change management practices
This position requires the tracking of time and is eligible for overtime for hours worked in excess of 40 per week under the Fair Labor Standards Act.

Pay ranges are job specific and are provided as a point-of-market reference for compensation decisions. Other factors which directly impact pay for individual associates include: experience, skills, knowledge, contribution, job location and, most importantly, performance in the job role.
