Role Description Local Language Contributors at Leangoogs AI play a key role in providing high-quality linguistic and cultural insights for AI training and evaluation. In this part-time remote role, contributors may work on tasks such as data collection, text and audio transcription, annotation and labeling, translation, and validation of AI outputs in local languages. Day-to-day activities can include reviewing and rating AI-generated responses, providing human preference data, checking content for accuracy and cultural relevance, and participating in safety and quality assessments. Contributors collaborate through structured workflows and online tools, following clear guidelines to ensure consistency and reliability. Work hours are flexible, and contributors are expected to meet project deadlines, maintain confidentiality, and follow ethical standards in handling data.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in at least one local language and English, with excellent reading and writing skills.
• Ability to perform linguistic tasks such as transcription, annotation, translation, and content review with high attention to detail.
• Comfort using digital tools and platforms for remote work, including web-based applications and basic productivity software.
• Capacity to follow detailed instructions, apply guidelines consistently, and provide clear written feedback.
• Understanding of local culture, context, and nuances that can influence language use, meaning, and user preferences.
• Prior experience in data labeling, localization, content moderation, or research assistance is beneficial but not required.
• Reliable internet access, ability to work independently, and commitment to meeting project timelines.
