Remote | International Recruitment | Dental Professionals

DentalHero, part of the Dutch GP-Connect group, is looking for a motivated and independent recruiter based in South Africa to join our international recruitment activities.

In this role, you will help connect South African dentists and other qualified dental professionals with career opportunities in the Netherlands.

We support candidates throughout their journey, from Dutch language training and BIG registration to visa applications and practical relocation assistance.

As our local recruiter, you will play an important role in identifying talented professionals, building relationships and helping candidates take their first steps towards an international career.

What will you do?

You will be our main point of contact for potential candidates in South Africa, working closely with our team in the Netherlands.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Identify and approach dentists and other qualified dental professionals who are interested in working in the Netherlands.
• Build and maintain relationships within the South African dental community, including professional networks, educational institutions and associations.
• Conduct initial interviews to understand candidates' experience, qualifications, motivation and career expectations.
• Guide candidates through the early stages of the recruitment process and explain the potential relocation journey.
• Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the recruitment process.
• Keep candidate information and recruitment activities organised and up to date in our ATS.
• Collaborate with the Netherlands-based team, sharing candidate profiles, progress updates and relevant feedback.
• Represent DentalHero at online information sessions and relevant networking events when needed.

What are we looking for?

We are looking for someone who enjoys connecting with people, building professional relationships and working independently.

Ideally, you bring:

• At least 2 years of recruitment experience, preferably within healthcare, dentistry or a similar professional field.
• Knowledge of the South African labour market and recruitment landscape.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to build trust.
• Excellent English communication skills; Afrikaans is a plus.
• A proactive, organised and results-driven approach.
• The ability to work independently while staying connected with an international team.
• A genuine interest in helping professionals explore career opportunities abroad.

An existing network within the South African dental community would be a strong advantage.
