Position: Logistics Analyst /Coordinator
Department: Operations
Work Location: Bussigny, Switzerland - Hybrid (work 3 days onsite)
Work Type: Permanent position, Part time, 4 or 5 days per week, 50% - 80% contract available (42-hour FTE)
What you will be doing:
The part-time Logistics Analyst / Coordinator role requires a candidate with a few years’ experience analytical skills, advanced excel and Power BI, and fluency in English preferably with FMCG experience. They will close collaboration with logistics providers, the accounting team, and internal stakeholders to provide accurate in time and quality cost and performance summary, by warehouse, by channels and by brands. This role requires excellent technical skills with latest tools available to automatize dashboard summary for all required costs and performance indicators in scope.
Experience, Skills and Qualifications required:
End to end performance monitoring
- Build, maintain, monitor and communicate Inbound, warehousing and transport KPI / SLA
- Create/lead Internal Inbound monthly KPI/SLA performance review for each channel, warehouse, brand
- Create/lead Internal Warehouse and Transport monthly KPI/SLA Performance review for each channel, warehouse, brand
- KPI in scope will be shortlisted by the direct line manager
End to end cost monitoring:
- Build, maintain, monitor and communicate Inbound, warehousing and transport costs and volumes.
- Create/lead Internal Inbound monthly cost review for each channel, warehouse, brand
- Create/lead Internal Warehouse and Transport monthly cost review for each channel, warehouse, brand
- From Inbound warehousing and transport, create and monitor specific view on certain area of spend for dedicated project and/or situation
- Provide support for Inbound, warehousing and transport budget creation and quarterly reforecast
Invoice Management:
- Escalate late or inaccurate invoices from warehousing and transport providers.
- Recover / credit amount charged wrongly
- Ensure mapping alignment between 3PL and accounting cost center
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:
- Associates Degree or ,Bachelor's Degree or, Masters Degree in business, logistics or other relevant area
- Min 2+ years in related experience as a logistics and Supply chain analyst or coordinator preferably with FMCG experience
- Authorized to work in Switzerland on a full-time basis (we are unable to provide sponsorship)
- Data Analysis and Cost Modeling skills
- Proficiency in developing and maintaining cost-to-serve models to support decision-making.
- Advanced skills in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI) to ensure quality follow up on all area of the business end to end (Inbound, warehousing, outbound by warehouse, channels and brands)
- Accounting and Financial Acumen
- Experience in reconciling invoices and ensuring accurate billing in collaboration with accounting teams.
- Knowledge of supply chain end to end financial metrics and their impact on business performance.
- Full fluency in English is a must, French speaking skills nice to have
