We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Logistics Coordinator, who efficiently builds loads in client’s transportation management systems, schedules pickups and deliveries through the designated appointment platforms, and continuously applies and improves the standard operating procedures (SOPs) provided for each account. The role is metrics-driven, with a daily production target and a clear mandate to identify and pursue automation opportunities that increase throughput while maintaining accuracy. Responsibilities : Build and maintain accurate loads in the TMS , entering rates, pickup and delivery details, reference numbers, commodity information, weights, temperatures, and other required shipment data. Review customer tenders and shipment information to verify completeness, accuracy, equipment requirements, special instructions, and customer-specific requirements. Identify and resolve discrepancies in shipment information, including missing or conflicting details, before the load is dispatched or moves. Schedule and manage pickup and delivery appointments , confirming appointment numbers, dates, times, facility requirements, and making updates or rescheduling changes when needed. Coordinate shipment execution with Customer Sales and Carrier Sales teams , ensuring carriers, drivers, and facilities have accurate information and everything required for successful pickup and delivery. Coordinate closely with the Track & Trace team by providing accurate shipment information, communicating critical appointments and special instructions, and supporting smooth handoffs between teams and shifts. Monitor and assist with operational exceptions , helping resolve appointment issues, missing information, paperwork problems, and other situations that could delay or disrupt shipments. Review delivered loads and collect required documentation , including Bills of Lading, Proofs of Delivery, lumper receipts, scale tickets, and other shipment-related paperwork. Verify load documentation and accessorial charges , ensuring paperwork is complete, accurate, properly signed, and consistent with the information recorded in the TMS. Complete and prepare loads for billing , resolving documentation discrepancies, following up on missing paperwork, updating the TMS, and submitting accurate documentation to the billing/accounting team. Previous logistics, transportation, freight brokerage, trucking, dispatch, administrative, or operations experience required Experience working with Aljex (TMS) preferred Strong computer and data-entry skills Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to accurately enter and verify detailed information Ability to manage multiple shipments and deadlines simultaneously Comfortable communicating by phone, email, and messaging systems Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced transportation environment Working conditions: Working schedule: Monday - Friday 8am-5pm CST Competitive Salary in USD Remote or office mode of work 10+ business days of paid time off English courses Equipment provided We are eager to fill this position, if you are detail-oriented and thrive in a team setting, we encourage you to apply and become a part of our dynamic logistics team.
