The Logistics function is responsible for ensuring the efficient movement, storage, and distribution of products throughout the supply chain. This role supports business operations by coordinating transportation, warehousing, inventory movements, and logistics service providers to ensure timely product availability, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The position works closely with internal stakeholders, headquarters, suppliers, carriers, customs brokers, and third-party logistics (3PL) partners to execute logistics operations, maintain inventory accuracy, and support overall supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities
E-Commerce Inventory Management
- Optimize E-Com Inbound: Partner with the SCM team to ensure the timely and cost-effective delivery of physical inventory to E-Commerce warehouses, proactively preventing stockouts.
- Inventory Reconciliation: Monitor E-Commerce inventory drivers—including sales stock, customer returns, expired goods, and warehouse damages/losses—and perform necessary adjustments to maintain strict alignment with the ERP system.
Import Operations & Logistics Cost Control
- Customs & Inbound Coordination: Oversee the customs clearance and inbound processing of imported shipments; manage timelines, resolve operational issues, and ensure on-time delivery.
- Cost Accounting Support: Process and verify import-related expenses accurately and timely to ensure proper allocation into product cost management systems.
3PL Warehouse & Inventory Control
- Inventory Integrity: Conduct monthly audits of inventory levels by storage location within 3PL warehouses to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Discrepancy Resolution: Investigate monthly inventory discrepancies and execute corrective adjustments in accordance with internal corporate procedures.
- Disposal & Donation Management: Validate inventory designated for monthly donation or disposal, ensuring complete compliance with internal approval workflows.
- Logistics Financial Audit: Review and audit monthly 3PL warehouse and transportation invoices to ensure billing aligns with contract terms and agreed-upon rates.
- Return Exports: Coordinate and execute return export processes from the warehouse in collaboration with relevant internal departments and external partners.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–5 years of experience in logistics, 3PL management, or inventory control (E-commerce logistics experience is highly preferred).
- Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Language: Bilingual in English and Korean
Salary range: $65-70k
