How You Will Help

• Collaboration
  • Collaborate with distribution, customer service, procurement, planning, and operations teams to support reliable freight execution and resolve transportation issues.
  • Build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders, carriers, freight forwarders, and 4PL partners to improve communication and visibility.
  • Support operational change by aligning priorities, communicating expectations, and helping teams adopt improved logistics processes.
• Logistics Strategy
  • Develop and execute logistics strategies that improve transportation service, cost performance, capacity planning, and operational consistency across the business.
  • Balance landed cost, lead times, and service levels to support customer satisfaction and business requirements.
  • Manage carrier and logistics partner performance, capacity coordination, service expectations, and operational issue resolution across domestic and international transportation modes.
  • Improve logistics execution processes, including shipping documentation, freight bill review, claims resolution, and carrier performance management.
• Logistics Operations
  • Manage inbound, outbound, and intercompany freight activity to support business needs, inventory availability, and customer delivery requirements.
  • Manage the company’s 4PL partner, Uber Freight, for execution of domestic freight activity, including shipment visibility, service performance, issue resolution, and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with freight forwarders to support the import side of the business, including coordination of international shipments, documentation, delivery visibility, and issue escalation.
  • Identify opportunities to improve freight consolidation, routing, carrier utilization, and overall transportation performance.
• Analytics
  • Develop and monitor logistics key performance indicators, including freight cost, carrier performance, on-time delivery, service issues, claims, and operational productivity.
  • Analyze logistics data, identify trends or service gaps, and present practical recommendations that improve cost, capacity, service, and execution.
• Project Management
  • Develop and manage logistics-related project plans, timelines, milestones, and implementation activities.
  • Build alignment and communicate project updates, risks, and decisions across internal teams and external partners.
• Process Improvement
  • Improve current logistics processes to reduce manual work, increase consistency, and strengthen service performance.
  • Create, maintain, and improve standard operating procedures for key logistics activities.

What You Will Bring

• Bachelor’s Degree required, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, or related field (Industrial Engineering, Operations Research).
• Experience managing logistics operations, carrier performance, shipment execution, and transportation-related issue resolution.
• Extensive knowledge and experience with International and Domestic Logistics.
• Experience leading logistics process improvements, system changes, or cross-functional transportation initiatives.
• High level of analytical ability to solve complex problems.
• Strong knowledge of transportation, logistics operations, carrier management, and freight cost drivers.
• Ability to guide operational improvements, manage change, and build cross-functional alignment without relying on direct reporting authority.
• Proven ability to work effectively with carriers, freight forwarders, 4PL partners, internal teams, and external partners to resolve issues and improve results.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to work effectively across functions and with external partners.
• Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects, build practical project plans, and meet timelines while balancing resources, cost, and business priorities.
• Strong computer proficiency in MS Office applications.
