One-liner

Run AI agents that research, draft and refresh Single Grain's long-form content at scale, so every page answers the question first, is accurate, and gets found in Google and cited in AI answers.

About the role

This is bigger than writing and editing. You'll be an AI-native content operator: you run agents and tools to research, draft and refresh long-form content on singlegrain.com at volume, and you own the result. That means answer-first structure, AEO and on-page SEO, and accuracy.

We want someone who is deeply AI-pilled. Editing time is coming down drastically, and the writers who win are the ones who already work that way: AI does the heavy lifting, and your time goes into judgment, structure and checking facts. You should already work like this every day and keep pushing it further, measuring your own hands-on time and cutting it.

Search is splitting between Google and answer engines like ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. You'll work inside Single Grain's AEO/SEO Content OS, with search and visibility data from Google Search Console and ClickFlow.

What you will own

• Run your own agent workflows for research, drafting and refresh. You choose the tools, design the workflows and keep improving them.

• Ship publish-ready long-form pieces (1,500+ words) at volume.

• Refresh existing singlegrain.com posts for AEO and SEO: answer-first leads, FAQ blocks, schema-ready structure, headings, internal links and meta.

• Own accuracy. Cut or rewrite any claim you can't verify, and reject AI drafts that aren't ready to ship.

• Pick which posts to refresh next from search data, and batch the work.

• Build a batch refresh workflow that a teammate actually uses.

What success looks like

• By day 30: Your agent workflow is live. 8 new long-form pieces and 20 refreshes have shipped. A teammate uses your batch refresh workflow on real pages.

• By day 60: You're producing 15 new pieces and 40 refreshes a month. At least 85% pass our quality gate the first time, and at least 80% of output runs through documented agent workflows with a logged accuracy check.

• By day 90: You're producing 25 new pieces and 60 refreshes a month. We read back search and AI-answer visibility on the pages you shipped.

• By month 12: You're producing 30+ new pieces and 80+ refreshes a month, with visibility up on most of the pages you shipped or refreshed. Failure means volume goes up while quality or visibility stays flat, or an invented stat gets shipped.

Evidence we want to see

• The agents and tools you run every day, and what each one does.

• One long-form piece you shipped, shown end to end with real times.

• How you've cut editing and fact-check time, with before and after numbers.

• A link to a shipped piece you built with AI, and what you did vs what the AI did.

• Hands-on AEO: pages built to be cited in AI answers.

What will rule you out

• Any invented stat, fabricated source or unverifiable claim, in your samples, your answers or the trial.

• Generic answers, or no proof link.

• Only talking about tools without showing a working workflow.

• Video, social or short copy as your only experience.

How to apply

2. Strong answers move to a paid live trial (4 hours max). You run your own AI workflow live and ship 3 long-form drafts and 10 post refreshes from a brief we provide, then walk us through your choices for 20 minutes. Nothing from the trial gets published.

3. We decide on the trial using the same scorecard for every candidate.
