About the Role

We’re looking for a Long-Form YouTube Video Editor to help produce engaging YouTube content for one of our creators.

You’ll take raw footage and turn it into polished, engaging long-form videos that are enjoyable to watch and keep viewers interested throughout.

This is a creative role where storytelling, pacing, and attention to detail are just as important as technical editing skills. We’re looking for someone who understands that great YouTube editing is more than simply cutting footage together - it’s about knowing what to keep, what to remove, when to speed things up, and how to create a strong overall viewing experience.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Editing long-form YouTube videos from raw footage to final delivery
• Creating engaging pacing and structure that keeps viewers interested
• Selecting and arranging footage to support the story and overall flow
• Adding B-roll, graphics, transitions, music, sound effects, and other visual elements where appropriate
• Cleaning and balancing audio and applying basic color correction
• Developing a consistent and engaging visual style for the channel
• Reviewing your work carefully before delivery and implementing feedback
• Managing your workflow efficiently and consistently meeting deadlines

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience editing long-form YouTube content
• A strong portfolio or examples of previous video editing work
• Strong understanding of storytelling, pacing, and audience retention
• Good understanding of B-roll, graphics, transitions, music, sound design, and visual storytelling
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut Pro, or similar
• Ability to independently turn raw footage into a polished final product
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to take feedback and make revisions effectively
• Reliable communication and ability to meet agreed deadlines
