Position Summary: The Loss Mitigation Business Analyst/ LMS Product Analyst provides support to the Loss Mitigation Underwriting department including support of the Loss Mitigation Solutions (LMS) workflow tool and manages a wide variety of immediate and longer-term initiatives. As the subject matter expert within Loss Mitigation, this position is expected to be a knowledgeable resource on all department processes, including in depth knowledge related to LMS functionality and its integration with ICE MSP. This position is also responsible for test script creation and test execution within the UAT environment and production environment and partnering with internal stakeholders (Loss Mitigation, Technology, Product Management, Enterprise Portfolio Management, Risk/Compliance) and external stakeholders (ICE, FNMA, FHLMC, GNMA, FHA, HUD, and private investors) to clarify requirements and operationalize required process changes. This position acts independently to prioritize and schedule all work.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Maintains current state and future state process documentation for all Loss Mitigation processes including integration of vendor products
Examines, updates and maintains policies and procedures to ensure compliance with Fair Lending practices.
Assists with the creation of an operations structure that executes the strategy, including but not limited to data management, reporting, refining functional and technical processes.
Reviews vendor and investor communications, providing categorization and prioritization
Monitors all change management from vendors and investors
Execution and documentation of all UAT and production testing
Supports multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
Manages and prioritizes outstanding issues and bugs
Collaborates daily with Loss Mitigation leadership, Technology teams and Project Management Teams.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Associate degree (A. A.) from two-year College preferred. Two to four years' related experience and/or training required. Two years of residential loan servicing experience preferred. Requires basic understanding of systems development lifecycle methodologies. Requires 2+ years of Loss Mitigation operations experience.
Language Ability: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Mathematical Ability: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions with minimal supervision. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Computer Skills: Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Previous experience with MSP, Black Knight/LPS and Fiserv preferred. Additionally, a strong knowledge of Project/Project Server, Team Foundation, Visio, SharePoint, Exchange; internet software; database software; and mortgage loan servicing systems. Ability to extract, manipulate and analyze data using complex SQL query statements and advanced database tools.
