HIRING IMMEDIATELY Sunstates Security is hiring an experienced Loss Prevention Analyst for a client site in Salt Lake City, UT. This position offers an annual salary of $85,000/paid weekly. The Loss Prevention Analyst is a critical member of the company's Loss Prevention organization, supporting both the Americas Regional Loss Prevention Team and International Loss Prevention Managers. This role is responsible for reviewing, investigating, and resolving buyer and seller claims related to lost packages, non-receipt, and potential fraud. The analyst will leverage investigative techniques, data analysis, and risk assessment methodologies to identify fraudulent activity, locate missing shipments, and mitigate financial losses while protecting the integrity of the marketplace. The successful candidate will possess strong analytical and investigative skills, with the ability to evaluate complex claims, identify emerging fraud trends, and make data-driven decisions. Candidates with backgrounds in law enforcement, corporate security, loss prevention, investigations, military service, or fraud prevention are highly preferred. Experience leading teams, mentoring employees, and delivering training programs is also highly desirable. The environment is fast-paced and constantly changing, requiring a candidate who can pivot quickly and possesses the ability to both change and design processes to accommodate these shifts. This is a hybrid role, with both remote and in-office requirements. Travel, including international travel, may be required for this role. Reporting Structure Reports to Regional Loss Prevention Leadership Supports Americas Regional Loss Prevention Team and International Loss Prevention Managers Key Responsibilities ● Review and process lost-item claims submitted by buyers and sellers. ● Identify fraudulent, suspicious, or high-risk claims. ● Investigate lost, delayed, or misrouted packages. ● Coordinate with shipping carriers and internal stakeholders to locate missing shipments. ● Analyze transaction and claims data to identify fraud trends and operational risks. ● Prepare reports and recommendations for Loss Prevention leadership. ● Partner with Customer Experience, Trust & Safety, Logistics, Risk, and Operations teams. ● This individual may work outside the Loss Prevention scope to assist with other projects at the direction of the Global Security and Loss Prevention Manager. Job Requirements Required Skills ● Strong analytical and investigative skills. ● Experience with fraud detection, claims management, and risk mitigation. ● Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel proficiency and data analysis capabilities. ● Excellent written and verbal communication skills. ● Ability to manage multiple investigations simultaneously. ● Knowledge of shipping, logistics, and package tracking systems. ● Experience using case management and reporting tools. Preferred Experience ● Former Law Enforcement, Criminal Investigator, Military Police, Corporate Security, Asset Protection, or Loss Prevention experience strongly preferred. ● Experience conducting investigations, interviews, and evidence collection. ● Experience in e-commerce, fraud prevention, or marketplace operations. Leadership & Training Experience ● Experience leading teams, projects, or operational initiatives. ● Ability to coach, mentor, and develop employees. ● Experience creating and delivering training programs. ● Strong presentation and facilitation skills.
