We are looking for a M365 Administrator to join our team.
Responsibilities
- Administer Microsoft 365 services, Exchange Online, Teams, Teams Phone and Teams Rooms, Places, Planner, Loop, etc. in an large Enterprise environment.
- Handle Level 2 or Level 3 incidents according to the assigned role, troubleshoot issues and contribute to root cause analysis.
- Process service requests for mailboxes, groups, permissions, policies and service configuration.
- Support email security gateways and secure email relay services, including mail flow, delivery issues and application connections.
- Test and implement changes through the agreed change management process.
- Investigate authentication, directory synchronization and application access issues affecting Microsoft 365, working with identity, network and endpoint support teams where needed.
- Install Exchange Server updates and maintain the health of the Exchange application on the remaining in-scope server.
- Monitor service health and review Microsoft announcements for changes that require operational action.
- Write and maintain PowerShell scripts and Microsoft Graph integrations to automate administration and reporting.
- Keep tickets, operating manuals, runbooks, FAQs and knowledge articles up to date.
- Produce reports on service performance, usage and governance findings.
- Work with Microsoft, other vendors and internal teams to resolve issues and keep stakeholders informed.
- Take part in knowledge transfer, service transition and improvements to day-to-day operations.
- Participate in on-call duty, providing support outside office hours if needed in crisis situations.

Required Expertise
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft 365 in an enterprise environment, particularly Exchange Online and/or Microsoft Teams.
- Experience handling incidents, fulfilling service requests and implementing approved changes.
- Working knowledge of SMTP, DNS, mail routing, SPF, DKIM and DMARC.
- Understanding of Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID and directory synchronization as they relate to Microsoft 365.
- Practical experience using PowerShell for administration and troubleshooting.
- Understanding of networking, authentication, permissions and secure administrative access.
- Experience working with an ITSM platform to record and manage incidents, requests and changes.
- Fluent spoken and written English.
- Willingness to participate in a shared on-call support rotation, ensuring 24/7 service availability.
Preferred Skills / Experience
- Experience with Proofpoint Email Protection, Proofpoint Secure Email Relay or similar services.
- Experience with Teams Phone, Teams Rooms or call quality troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting Exchange Server in a hybrid environment used for identity and recipient management.
- Experience with Microsoft Graph, service principals, application permissions and source control for scripts.
- Knowledge of SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Power Apps, Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot Studio, Microsoft 365 Copilot or Microsoft Purview Information Protection.
- Experience with Rencore Governance, Nexthink or similar tools.
- Experience with service transitions and ITIL-based service management.
- Relevant Microsoft certifications.
- German language skills.
