Role Description

Meriti Inc. is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer (LLAMA / Large Language Models) for a full-time remote position. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement cutting-edge machine learning models and LLM-based applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into scalable AI solutions, leveraging your expertise in algorithms, neural networks, and natural language processing to deliver real-world impact.

Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in Machine Learning, including Neural Networks and Pattern Recognition
• Solid foundation in Computer Science, Statistics, and Applied Mathematics
• Proven experience developing and implementing NLP and LLM-based algorithms (e.g., LLaMA, GPT, or similar architectures)
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and collaboration skills
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field
• Hands-on experience with ML frameworks and toolkits (e.g., PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face)
• Proficient in Python, R, or other ML-related programming languages
• Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote, fast-paced environment
• Experience in predictive modeling, AI systems, or data-driven product development is a strong plus
