🎙️ Generative Speech AI / Audio ML

I’m working with a well-funded AI scale-up building cutting-edge technology across speech, audio and real-time communication.

They’re hiring 2x ML Researchers to join a small, highly technical ML research team. One Senior + Mid-level engineer.

The focus:

• Generative speech AI
• Speech synthesis / TTS
• Neural vocoders
• Voice generation & transformation
• Emotional speech generation / recognition
• Speech enhancement
• Real-time / low-latency audio ML

For the more senior hire, they’re particularly interested in people who have developed new ML approaches and model architectures, rather than simply worked with existing APIs or off-the-shelf models.

You’ll be a good fit if you have:

• Strong Python + PyTorch
• MSc or PhD
• Experience researching and training deep learning models
• Exposure to speech, audio or adjacent generative ML research
• A strong experimental and research mindset
• Publications are a bonus, not a requirement

You’ll be joining a genuinely strong technical team, solving difficult ML problems with technology already deployed in real-world environments.

This is a hybrid role in London, with 3 days per week in the office.
