WaterNSW is currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to be based at Warragamba Dam (Full-Time, Permanent), In the role you will oversee a diverse team of trades professionals, coordinate day-to-day maintenance operations and ensure critical works are delivered safely and effectively. What you’ll do:
• Lead and supervise maintenance activities across the iconic Warragamba Dam site, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently and to the highest quality standards.
• Plan and coordinate complex maintenance works, including work packs, isolation plans, permits, drawings and stakeholder engagement to support successful project delivery.
• Provide hands-on leadership to tradespeople and contractors, driving accountability, performance and operational excellence across daily maintenance activities.
• Monitor asset condition and performance through regular site inspections, identifying risks, opportunities for improvement and emerging maintenance requirements.
• Oversee the quality and completion of maintenance documentation, work orders and contractor reports, ensuring accurate records and effective follow-up of actions.
• Champion a strong safety culture by role modelling safe behaviours and ensuring all maintenance activities prioritise the wellbeing of people, assets and the environment.
What we are looking for:
• A proven maintenance leader (Mechanical or Electrical) with extensive experience across industrial, utilities, infrastructure or operational environments, capable of leading teams and delivering safe, reliable outcomes.
• Experience supervising and coordinating multi-disciplinary maintenance teams, ensuring work is completed safely, on time and to a high standard.
• Strong planning and coordination skills, with the ability to manage complex maintenance activities from scoping and scheduling through to execution and completion.
• Demonstrated experience identifying, managing and mitigating safety, operational and business risks within a maintenance environment.
• A collaborative communicator who can build strong relationships with tradespeople, engineers, contractors and operational stakeholders.
• Electrical trade background (Highly regarded), with the ability to provide technical leadership and support to electrical personnel across the site.
