| Position Summary | NMPBS seeks an exceptional, relationship-driven fundraising professional to serve as Major Gifts Officer and help build a strong and sustainable future for NMPBS in New Mexico. This position will cultivate meaningful, long-term relationships with individuals who believe deeply in the power of NMPBS to inform, educate, inspire, and serve our communities. Through thoughtful prospect identification, personal
engagement, strategic cultivation, face-to-face solicitation, and exemplary
stewardship, the Major Gifts Officer will inspire significant philanthropic
investment in NMPBS. The position will manage a portfolio of major donors and
prospects, develop individualized strategies for each relationship, and work
closely with the Director of Development to identify opportunities to increase
support and expand the station’s major gifts pipeline. |

| Minimum Qualifications | Bachelor's degree; at least 3 years of experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. |
