Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation schedules, ensuring records remain accurate and up to date. Calculate and maintain key provisions, including bad debt and accrued income provisions. Support the preparation and submission of Dutch VAT returns, ICP declarations (EU Sales declarations) and WKR (Work-Related Costs Scheme) calculations. Assist with the preparation of Dutch statutory accounts and support the year-end audit process. Ensure all spreadsheets, processes and desktop procedures are fully documented, regularly reviewed and aligned with global policies and procedures. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and accounting standards, proactively identifying and mitigating risks where necessary. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to streamline processes, increase efficiency and enhance the effectiveness of financial service delivery. Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including Delivery teams, Finance Business Partners, Payroll, Cash & Bank, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Credit Control, auditors, regulators, external accounting providers and other key contacts. Support regular tax reporting by providing accurate financial data and ensuring compliance with relevant reporting requirements. Transformation & Continuous Improvement: Support the development and implementation of global financial policies, procedures and controls that align with regulatory requirements and best practice. Analyse existing processes, systems and ways of working to identify opportunities for standardisation, optimisation and operational improvement within the global operating model. Contribute to transformation and change initiatives, supporting the delivery of efficient, scalable and well-controlled finance processes.
