This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced and client-focused Manager to take on a broader compliance and consultative role supporting international and regulated businesses within the Financial Services sector, including funds, fund and asset managers, payment services providers, fintech companies and other financial institutions. You will gain valuable exposure to a diverse portfolio of clients while playing an important role in the continued growth and development of our Financial Services practice. A key member of the management team, your role is pivotal to client experience, technical support, staff development and team success. You will supervise and support the provision of accounting, payroll and advisory services to a broad portfolio of clients. You will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth onboarding and implementation of new clients within your portfolio. You will manage and develop a team of professionals, providing technical guidance and acting as a coach and mentor to support their growth. In addition to overseeing the quality and timely delivery of client engagements, you will take ownership of your portfolio's operational and financial performance. Beyond day-to-day engagement management, you will be expected to build strong and trusted client relationships, identify opportunities to provide value-added solutions, and contribute to the development and growth of our Financial Services service offerings. Responsibilities Manage a portfolio of clients, including funds, fund/asset managers, payment services providers, fintech companies and other regulated entities. Oversee the delivery and review of accounting, financial reporting and advisory services, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements. Provide technical guidance and support to the team, ensuring quality and risk management requirements are consistently met. Drive process improvements and efficiencies to enhance the quality of deliverables and overall client experience. Contribute to business development within the Financial Services sector, including identifying new opportunities, participating in prospect meetings, pitches and proposals, and working with Partners to expand the client base and grow the business Lead, coach and develop the team, including resource planning, performance management and staff development. Take ownership of the financial performance of the portfolio, including engagement efficiency, fee recovery and profitability. Participate in ad hoc projects and other related tasks as required by the Partner(s). Requirements Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline, and/or an equivalent professional qualification. At least 5–8 years of relevant experience, preferably in professional services, audit, accounting outsourcing, fund administration or the Financial Services sector, with exposure to funds, fund/asset managers, payment services providers, fintech companies or other regulated entities. Familiarity with MAS regulatory requirements would be an added advantage Proven experience in managing client portfolios and leading teams, with good project and resource management capabilities. Good knowledge of SFRS/IFRS/US GAAP, financial reporting requirements and the Singapore Financial Services regulatory environment, with the ability to provide practical technical guidance. Excellent written and verbal communication in English, analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work effectively across all levels and confidently engage with senior stakeholders. Commercially minded, with an interest in developing business development capabilities, building client relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
