Manager, Accounting to Reporting

Join the VELUX Group as an Accounting to Reporting Manager and become a key part of our Global Business Services organization. This position involves managing accounting, reporting, and compliance work to support high-quality financial operations and accurate reporting in several markets. In coordination with your team, you will contribute to continuous improvement, support transformation efforts in finance, and build solid partnerships with stakeholders worldwide. Your Responsibilities Oversee end-to-end accounting, financial close, financial compliance, and reporting activities Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, internal controls, IFRS, local GAAP, and statutory requirements Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes Oversee general ledger accounting, reconciliations, journal entries, and accruals Coordinate the preparation and review of statutory and group financial statements as well as income tax computations and returns Manage internal and external audits, including planning, documentation, issue resolution, and follow-up activities Collaborate closely with finance, tax, legal, compliance teams, and external auditors Lead, coach, and develop the accounting team while supporting an engaged workplace Build positive stakeholder relationships and ensure high-quality service delivery Oversee process standardization, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives Support finance transformation programs, system implementations, and transition projects Our R equirements Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field Professional qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, CPA, or equivalent is an advantage 10+ years of experience in accounting, financial reporting, or financial compliance and at least 3 years in people leadership Previous experience in developing teams Background in a Global Business Services, Shared Services, or multinational environment Solid knowledge of IFRS, statutory reporting, general ledger accounting, financial close processes, audits, tax accounting, and internal controls Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP or S/4HANA Fluency in English Skilled in problem solving, working with stakeholders, and clear communication Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high attention to detail Continuous-improvement mindset and customer-oriented approach What We Offer Attractive well-being package (office massages, self-awareness trainings) Flexible working hours and hybrid model for home office (3 days per week to work from home) Bonus system Multikafeteria/Multisport/Subsidy to summer holiday Lunch card Christmas gift card Two additional days off per year for CSR activities Modern office full of light and fresh air with parking spaces available to all employees and the highest quality office equipment Internal and external development program addressed to all employees Employee Pension Scheme financed entirely by the employer (PPE) Private medical care with telemedicine and rehabilitation, full stomatology as option Employee Foundation support Constructive cooperation based on trust and respect for the employee Stable employment in the company operating for over 35 years in Poland About VELUX In the VELUX Group, we offer you a world of opportunities and the chance to create a bright future.
