About the Role
At Equitable, we help clients secure their financial well-being so they can pursue long and fulfilling lives, a mission we’ve honed since 1859.

Equitable Advisors’ Wealth Management team is seeking a Manager, Advisor Experience & Financial Planning to help shape the future of how advisors deliver financial planning and serve their clients.

You’ll bring together financial planning, practice management, technology, and advisor insights to develop solutions that make an impact. If you’re passionate about financial planning, energized by innovation, and curious about how technology and AI can enhance the advisor and client experience, this is an opportunity to help shape what’s next.

This position offers a hybrid work schedule, with periodic days in our New York City office at 1345 Avenue of the Americas, combining flexibility with in-person collaboration.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead the design and delivery of an integrated advisor and financial planning experience, connecting practice management, advisor workflows, digital platforms, planning capabilities, and client-facing solutions.

  • Help shape the end-to-end financial planning and client experience, translating advisor and client needs into scalable solutions that support financial health, planning, and long-term financial well-being.

  • Partner across Wealth Management, technology, and other key functions to advance strategic initiatives, platform enhancements, integrations, and capabilities that improve advisor effectiveness and the client experience.

  • Manage internal and external partnerships, including third-party financial planning providers, supporting platform delivery, vendor performance, contract and amendment reviews, and ongoing enhancements.

  • Bring an external perspective to financial planning and advisor technology, monitoring industry trends, competitors, digital capabilities, and emerging technologies to help inform priorities and future solutions.

  • Apply financial planning and practice management expertise to support product strategy, partner decisions, roadmap priorities, and solutions that help advisors build stronger practices and deliver more engaging client experiences.

  • Engage directly with advisors and stakeholders, translating feedback and insights into recommendations and executive-ready materials that help influence decisions and drive continuous improvement.

The base salary range for this position is $111,464 - $183,915. Actual base salaries vary based on skills, experience, and geographical location. In addition to base pay, Equitable provides compensation to reward performance with base salary increases, spot bonuses, and short-term incentive compensation opportunities. Eligibility for these programs depends on level and functional area of responsibility.

For eligible employees, Equitable provides a full range of benefits. This includes medical, dental, vision, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off. For detailed descriptions of these benefits, please refer to the link below.

  • Working knowledge of emerging technology and AI-enabled capabilities, with an understanding of how they can enhance advisor productivity, financial planning, and client engagement.

  • Strong communication, presentation, and relationship-management skills, with the ability to engage advisors, business partners, vendors, and cross-functional stakeholders.

  • Ability to manage multiple initiatives and priorities, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on execution and attention to detail.
