As a Manager, Assurance Services - Gaming, you'll lead assurance engagements for commercial and tribal casinos, state lotteries, and online gaming clients while serving as a trusted advisor to your clients. This role offers the opportunity to apply your technical accounting expertise, deepen your gaming industry knowledge, and make a meaningful impact through strong client relationships, team mentorship, and insights that strengthen financial reporting, regulatory compliance, and operational performance. Major Responsibilities Lead assurance and agreed-upon procedures engagements for gaming clients, ensuring timely, compliant, and high-quality delivery. Advise clients on complex accounting, financial reporting, and regulatory matters affecting the gaming industry. Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements that strengthen compliance, reduce risk, and enhance operational effectiveness. Review workpapers, financial statements, and disclosures for accuracy and compliance with professional and regulatory standards. Manage engagement budgets, staffing, and project timelines to meet quality and profitability goals. Serve as a trusted advisor, building strong client relationships and delivering insights that support business objectives. Mentor and develop team members while fostering a collaborative, high-performing culture. Identify opportunities to expand client relationships and support the continued growth of the Gaming Industry Group. Preferred Experience/Background/Skills Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required; Master's degree preferred. Active CPA required. Progressive public accounting experience serving gaming clients or other highly regulated industries. Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, AICPA auditing standards, and gaming industry accounting and regulatory requirements. Understanding of gaming operations, internal controls, and applicable state and tribal gaming regulations. Proven ability to lead engagements, mentor staff, and manage multiple client projects. Strong client relationship, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to identify process improvements and deliver practical, compliance-focused solutions. Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office. Ability to support business development and firm growth initiatives. Working Conditions Typical office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Hybrid work model with 2-3 days per week in-office. Ability to work extra hours as determined by workload and client expectations. Travel is dependent upon office location, business need, and client expectations. Ability to sit for long periods of time. Ability to move throughout office. Ability to lift, carry, push, pull up to 30-50 pounds.
