Manager, Business Development (Individual Health Business)

Accountabilities and activities Support the Channel Head in implementing and executing business plans and initiatives Serve as the primary point of contact for brokers, fostering strong relationships through prompt, professional, and high-quality service Drive new business, member growth, and revenue expansion across mapped accounts, ensuring continuous improvement in sales productivity Identify upsell and cross‑sell opportunities across individual products to increase total customer value and enhance product penetration Expand distribution footprint by onboarding, activating, and developing new brokers and IFAs to diversify and strengthen the channel Manage sales performance and review mapped accounts in alignment with sales KPIs Drive and manage digital enablement utilization both internally and externally Identify target segments and implement marketing strategies to drive new business for individual products Innovative new ways to serve and improve businesses, products, and work operation Prepare presentation materials and assist in compiling business and management reports Participate in ad hoc projects as assigned by the Channel Head Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field, plus at least 5 years of relevant experience (medical insurance experience preferred) Possess a valid IIQE license (Papers 1 & 2) Demonstrate a self-motivated and self-driven personality, able to work independently Customer-centric mindset with the ability to manage complex interactions effectively Strong interpersonal and influencing skills Proficient in both written and spoken English, Chinese, and Mandarin Strong situational awareness, a desire to learn, and the ability to work in an Agile environment Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office Bupa offers 5 days’ work per week and comprehensive remuneration packages including base salary, study assistance plan, company pension plan, life and medical benefit, dental benefit, annual leave, examination leave, etc. Bupa is an equal opportunity employer and welcomes applications from qualified candidates.
