What we need

Symbotic is seeking a Manager, Commercial Excellence-Installation Programs to join our Strategic Value Realization team within our Finance organization. Your job will be to oversee the Install Budget for the organization's Master Agreements portfolio, driving financial optimization through cost reduction, schedule acceleration, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement initiatives.

What we do

The Finance organization is responsible for financial reporting requirements, weekly and monthly reporting, preparation of Management Review Packages, investor relations support, business forecasting, M&A modeling, and strategic ad hoc projects. The Strategic Value Realization team partners across the business to maximize commercial outcomes, optimize contract performance, reduce operational costs, and improve program execution through disciplined financial governance and value-focused decision-making.

What you'll do

• Lead financial optimization efforts across the Install budget portfolio, identifying opportunities to reduce jobsite manpower requirements, lower overall costs, and accelerate customer delivery schedules.

• Structure and implement financial protection mechanisms that mitigate inflationary pressures, macroeconomic shifts, escalating price points, and other commercial risks.

• Establish and govern project budget baselines, monitor variances, and drive corrective actions to prevent scope creeping and preserve profitability.

• Identify, negotiate, and maximize contract-based incentives, performance bonuses, credits, and other value-generating commercial opportunities.

• Define, track, and report on key performance indicators, compliance metrics, contract scorecards, and executive-level performance reporting.

• Monitor operational milestones and program deliverables to ensure performance requirements are achieved prior to approval of associated contractual obligations.

• Partner with finance, procurement, operations, legal, and executive stakeholders to strengthen commercial governance, improve contract performance, and mitigate program risk.

What you'll need

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Engineering, Economics, or a related field.

• Minimum of 8 years of related experience, minimum of 3 years of management experience.

• Proven experience in contract management, commercial management, procurement, finance, or related disciplines, including leadership of teams and cross-functional initiatives.

• Proven experience negotiating and managing large-scale Master Service Agreements (MSAs), supplier agreements, and complex commercial contracts.

• Strong financial acumen with demonstrated expertise in pricing strategies, cost analysis, budget management, profitability optimization, and financial forecasting.

• Deep understanding of contractual risk management, compliance requirements, commercial governance, and performance management frameworks.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems, with strong analytical, negotiation, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.

Our environment

• Up to 30% of travel may be required. Employees must have a valid driver's license and the ability to drive and/or fly to client locations and company HQ.

• Employees may be required to use a personal credit card for business travel expenses, which are reimbursed based on the program guidelines. Eligible employees may receive a corporate credit card based on role and travel requirements, but a personal credit card may be needed during onboarding until the corporate card is issued.

The base range for this position in the posted location is $125,000.00 - $171,600.00 however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The compensation package includes medical, dental, vision, disability, 401K, PTO and/or other benefits.
