We are looking for a Manager, Demand Planning — North America to own demand planning across Sephora US & Canada and rhode’s global ecommerce channels, producing forecasts and actionable insights that feed our S&OP process.
This role will sit at the intersection of demand planning, retail and ecommerce, translating sellout and business signals into clear demand forecasts and recommendations. You’ll partner closely with Ecommerce and cross-functional teams to understand promotional calendars, site merchandising, new product launches and inventory positioning, while proactively identifying risks and opportunities and ensuring our demand plans reflect the latest needs of the business.
What You'll Do
Sephora North America Demand Plan Ownership & Reconciliation
Build and maintain rolling 18-month demand plans across Sephora US & Canada.
Own sellout-to-sell-in reconciliation
Track sell-in accuracy and bias by channel, retailer and top SKUs against monthly targets and actuals.
Prepare retailer sell-in data inputs for Consensus/S&OP and ensure a single-number handoff to Finance.
Proactively quantify wholesale risks and opportunities and recommend actions.
DTC Forecast Ownership & Ecommerce Team Partnership
Build and maintain rolling 18-month demand plans across global rhode ecommerce channels.
Track forecast accuracy and bias with a focus on achieving monthly targets.
Prepare DTC data inputs for Consensus/S&OP and ensure a single-number handoff to Finance.
Proactively quantify DTC risks and opportunities and recommend actions.
Partner closely with the Ecommerce team on demand planning, aligning with promotional calendars, site merchandising, new product launches and inventory positioning.
Build a high-trust relationship with Ecommerce stakeholders and serve as the Demand Planning point of contact.
Tools & Data Management
Maintain SKU hierarchy master data to ensure data hygiene within planning tools.
Actively participate in the planning tool implementation, including process mapping, data migration, testing and UAT.
What You'll Bring
What You’ll Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business, finance, economics or other related field
4+ years of experience in demand planning, forecasting or a related supply chain planning function.
Experience managing demand across retail and/or DTC channels.
Strong understanding of sell-in, sellout, forecast accuracy and bias.
Experience working within Consensus and/or S&OP processes.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Ability to identify demand risks and opportunities and translate them into recommended actions.
Strong cross-functional partnership skills, particularly with Ecommerce, Finance and Supply Planning.
Experience maintaining planning data and working with demand planning systems; implementation experience is a plus.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment with evolving priorities.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to serve as a trusted Demand Planning partner to the business.
