Position Overview

The Manager, Enterprise Systems, is responsible for the operational performance, support delivery, and continuous improvement of enterprise systems within an assigned business process domain. This role leads a team of business systems analysts and third-party application management services (AMS) resources to ensure systems are stable, compliant, and aligned with business operating needs.

The Manager serves as the primary operational leader for their business process tower, with accountability for day-to-day system support, issue resolution, service quality, minor enhancements, and release readiness. This role ensures that enterprise systems are not only functioning reliably but are continuously improving to meet evolving business demands and performance expectations.

In addition to core operational responsibilities, this role plays a key part in advancing AI, automation, and data-driven capabilities within its domain. The Manager identifies opportunities to reduce manual effort, improve system usability, and enhance operational insight through intelligent automation and improved monitoring.

The Manager works in close partnership with the Vice President, Enterprise Business Systems Digital Business Partners (DBPs) to ensure alignment between operations, roadmap priorities, and business needs.

Operational Ownership

- Own end-to-end operational performance of enterprise systems within the assigned business process domain
- Manage and prioritize workload across incidents, requests, and enhancements
- Maintain visibility into backlog, demand, and recurring issues
- Ensure consistent and reliable support outcomes

Service Delivery & Support Management

- Lead incident, problem, and request management processes
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions
- Monitor service performance against SLAs
- Maintain documentation and knowledge base
- Leverage automation to improve support efficiency

AI, Automation & Continuous Improvement

- Identify and implement automation opportunities
- Reduce manual effort and incident recurrence
- Support AI-enabled monitoring and predictive capabilities
- Ensure automation is governed and documented

Supply Chain Domain Responsibility Summary

• Leads delivery, support, and continuous improvement of technology capabilities across the end-to-end supply chain value stream.

• Supports demand and supply planning, manufacturing integration, procurement, inventory management, transportation and logistics, warehouse operations, global trade compliance, customer fulfillment., quality management and plant maintenance.

• Drives operational excellence through system stability, process standardization, data quality, automation, and continuous improvement.

• Enables scalable, secure, and efficient business systems that support global supply chain performance and business value.

People Leadership

- Lead and develop business systems analysts
- Define clear roles and expectations
- Drive accountability and performance
- Build team capabilities and succession

Vendor & Partner Management

- Manage AMS providers and performance
- Track SLAs and service quality
- Ensure knowledge transfer and documentation
- Align vendor capacity to demand

Release, Change & Improvement Management

- Coordinate releases and changes
- Ensure operational readiness
- Improve efficiency and reduce risk
- Support lifecycle and upgrades

Business Process & Stakeholder Partnership

- Build relationships with business stakeholders
- Provide operational insights to DBPs
- Report on performance, risks, and backlog
- Act as operational contact

Controls, Risk & Compliance

- Ensure compliance with policies and controls
- Support audit and documentation
- Maintain change discipline
- Escalate risks

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, Engineering, Supply Chain, or a related discipline
- 10+ years of experience supporting enterprise applications and business processes, including 5 years experience in a leadership or team management role
- Demonstrated experience managing enterprise systems operations, application support, incident and problem management, enhancements, releases, and service performance
- Experience leading business systems analysts and coordinating third-party AMS providers or technology vendors
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and the integration of enterprise applications, data, and controls
- Proven ability to manage priorities, backlogs, risks, and stakeholder expectations in a complex operating environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and relationship-management skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, business leaders, technical resources, and global stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience with SAP S/4HANA and related supply chain capabilities, including planning, manufacturing, procurement, inventory, transportation, logistics, warehouse management, global trade, quality management, or plant maintenance
- Familiarity with SAP IBP, Ariba, EWM, TM, GTS, EHS, PM, QM, PP, MM, or related enterprise supply chain platforms
- Experience applying AI, workflow automation, monitoring, or analytics to improve support quality, operational efficiency, and supply chain performance
- Working knowledge of supply chain controls, data governance, cybersecurity, regulatory compliance, and business continuity practices
- Experience operating in a global, matrixed manufacturing organization and coordinating resources across regions and time zones
- ITIL, SAP, supply chain, project management, agile, or other relevant professional certification
