Job Description
Join the Ameriprise team as a Manager of Enterprise Communications! This role provides strategic communications consulting, planning, execution and measurement across the Advice and Wealth Management (AWM) segment and global enterprise with a primary focus on driving engagement with our field and employee audiences.Key Responsibilities
- Provide strategic communications consulting for business partners across the Advice and Wealth Management (AWM) segment and global enterprise. Create and execute communications plans that support critical firm priorities and drive advisor practice growth and field member and employee engagement.
- Develop, manage and implement communication plans to deliver key messages and optimize business results, based on audience needs.
- Write, edit and coordinate communications to advisors, field members, employees and other audiences to ensure alignment with overall communication plans. Ensure compliance approvals are obtained as needed.
- Integrate communications plans and messages with other initiatives by working closely with integrated consulting team.
- Build relationships with and influence leaders, business partners and other stakeholders to understand their goals, challenges and opportunities and develop content that meets their needs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree or equivalent
- Minimum of 5 years experience in communications or related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to translate complex concepts into easy-to-understand language.
- Ability to think strategically, coach and influence people at various levels of the organization. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- High proficiency in Word and PowerPoint.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Communications, Journalism, English or equivalent related work experience
- Understanding of the financial services industry
In-Office Collaboration
We are a client-centric, relationship-based business. Working together, in-person, is foundational to how we achieve results. By fostering a culture of face-to-face collaboration, idea sharing, productivity and personal connection, we deliver for our stakeholders — clients, advisors, employees and shareholders. Our employees work in the office at least four (4) days per week, with flexibility to work from home one (1) day per week. Some roles may require additional in-office time or different in-office expectations, and specific requirements will be discussed during the hiring process.

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $87,400 - $120,200 / year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role.
