Position Overview The Manager, Epic Inpatient Clinical Applications oversees the business and project aspects of applications and modules related to Inpatient platform within the OCHIN collaborative. This work entails managing projects to a budget, managing issues and risks, ensuring high-quality deployment, stabilization following install. The Manager of Epic Inpatient Clinical Applications directly manages the implementation, optimization and support of Epic clinical applications and will continually assess and make improvements to the system and to the processes to improve efficiency while judiciously managing the resources of OCHIN and our Members (Service Areas) to continually improve the quality of processes, the information system, and outcomes to our members. Essential Duties Ensure that new staff are on-boarded in a methodical, measured manner that prepares them for success Assess and develop skills and Individual Development Plans (IDPs) of staff Track and measure department, project, and individual performance goals Identify potential opportunities for process and quality improvement within OCHIN Ensure that team processes are represented on the OCHIN System Map Review ticket metrics and ensure team is delivering on SLAs and staying current with assignments Intervene and resolve escalations with members as needed Lead, motivate, develop, and define positive outcomes for a team of analysts to ensure the Epic Inpatient Clinical Application is appropriately maintained, meeting both organizational and member needs Provide leadership, coordination and management of processes and functions for Inpatient Clinical Maintenance Manage the clinical wing of the Inpatient team and improve overall support of members through coordination with other Managers, ensuring that all sides of support are aligned and providing the best service Maintain and reinforce communication and linkages between the Epic Inpatient Clinical Applications Team and other relevant OCHIN Departments. Other duties as assigned. Requirements An Epic certification in at least one to two of the applications are required, as is previous Epic application experience: Epic Certification(s): Bugsy, Stork, ASAP, OpTime, Anesthesia, Willow - Inpatient, Willow Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar or relevant role. 8 years of applicable experience desired. Base Pay Overview OCHIN uses broadened pay ranges to support equitable and market-aligned compensation practices. The final offer will be based on a variety of factors, including relevant skills, certifications, education, experience, training, responsibilities, internal equity, and market data. Salary Description Min- $119,571 to Max- 162,617
