Your New Role
Join Aware Super as our Manager, Financial Crime Analytics, where you’ll play an important role in strengthening our enterprise financial crime data analytics, insights and reporting capability. You’ll use data to provide meaningful insights, enhance reporting and support effective risk management, governance oversight and regulatory compliance across financial crime.
Working across Financial Crime, Risk, Technology and Data teams, you’ll develop dashboards, reporting methodologies, KRIs and analytical capabilities that provide greater visibility of financial crime risks, control effectiveness and emerging trends.

Key responsibilities include:
- Design, develop and maintain Financial Crime dashboards, analytics, KRIs and reporting solutions that support effective oversight and decision making.
- Deliver accurate and actionable insights across AML/CTF and broader financial crime risks using data analysis, visualisation and reporting.
- Analyse data to identify emerging risks, patterns, anomalies, control weaknesses and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain reporting methodologies, data definitions, metrics and controls to support consistent and reliable reporting.
- Partner with business, Risk, Technology and Data teams to improve data quality, accessibility and reporting outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to automate and streamline reporting, reduce manual effort and improve operational efficiency.
- Support the implementation of AI, automation and advanced analytics to enhance financial crime risk monitoring and reporting.
How do you exceed our expectations?
- Experience within financial services, with exposure to data analytics, reporting, business intelligence, financial crime, risk or compliance in a regulated environment.
- Strong understanding of AML/CTF and broader financial crime risks, controls and reporting obligations.
- Demonstrated experience developing dashboards, KRIs, management information and governance reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to turn complex data into clear and actionable insights.
- Experience developing and maintaining automated reporting, analytics and data solutions.
- Sound understanding of data governance, including data quality, lineage, controls and reporting integrity.
- Proficiency with data visualisation and analytics tools such as Power BI, Tableau and SQL, or equivalent.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to translate technical concepts for business, executive and governance audiences.
