Impact Privacy is looking for an ambitious, talented, and savvy Manager, Health and Care Privacy based in Europe, UK, or Canada for a unique opportunity to join a growing team!

Want to roll your sleeves up to design, develop and implement privacy programs that have immediate impact in healthcare? Keen to get involved in the design of health-related products, services, and studies? Looking to expand your privacy, information security, and AI governance skills and expertise? Excited about the benefits of working with a multi-disciplinary team with an international presence?

You have come to the right place.

Impact Privacy believes small and medium-sized healthcare businesses deserve the same high-quality privacy resources as big businesses. We built our proposition on our understanding of the privacy, data governance, information security, and AI-related problems healthcare SMEs face. Our goal is to deliver meaningful solutions working as a valued part of our clients’ teams through the effective management of privacy and data risks, in a way that is seamless and proactive.

MANAGER, HEALTH AND CARE PRIVACY

The Manager, Health and Care Privacy, works directly with clients providing support for privacy risk management, whether ensuring privacy by design in products, managing privacy programs, delivering training, or providing privacy advice. The role builds strong relationships and delivers on projects, assignments, and day-to-day privacy activities. While the role reports to our CEO, the real boss is the client.

What you will be doing

· Proactively lead client engagements and build relationships.

· Work collaboratively with various client business units on privacy matters, augmenting their resources and capabilities.

· Support the design, delivery, implementation, management, and monitoring of clients’ privacy compliance programs.

· Identify, understand, and document privacy and data risks, as well as develop and support the implementation of responses to those risks.

· Create and maintain the systems and records that underpin privacy compliance, accountability, and the management of privacy risks.

· Identify, advise, and support the management of third-party privacy risks.

· Design and deliver privacy training, promote, and communicate appropriate privacy practices.

· Identify, respond to, and manage the mitigation of privacy failures.

· Provide guidance related to privacy and best practices.

Required education and experience

· 2+ years in privacy/data protection in healthcare, care, life sciences or health technologies

· Privacy professional certification - CIPM or CIPP/C/E, or equivalent

· Experience with global privacy/data protection obligations

Practical ability, great know how, and common sense impress us more than academic achievement. So does motivation, high energy, and the ability to get things done. Your desire to work in the healthcare sector is important, as this is our focus.

What we offer

· Base salary range: €75,000 to €90,000 annually

· Generous vacation time aligned with European standards (5 weeks paid vacation) with paid time off for the week between Christmas and New Year’s Day, plus local statutory holidays

· Annual bonus

· Education budget

· Fully remote work

· Health and wellness benefits

· The opportunity to contribute to the next stage of our development and grow with us!
