As our Manager Internal Audit, you’ll play a key part in delivering a value-adding assurance and advisory function, leading risk-based audits, driving regulatory and governance assurance and influencing risk and control improvements. Your drive and ideas will help us move faster, improve smarter, and stay ahead of the game.
What you’ll do
You’ll take ownership of work that gives us our competitive edge, including:
Audit Planning and Execution
- Support the development of a comprehensive internal audit plan.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify areas of potential risks.
- Perform audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes.
Operational Efficiency
- Evaluate internal controls and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide recommendations for process improvements and cost-saving measures.
- Collaborate with departments to implement best practices and streamline operations.
- Manage the tracking of issues and actions arising from internal audit work.
Reporting and Communication
- Prepare detailed audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans.
- Present audit results to senior management.
- Maintain open communication with management to address audit issues and concerns.
- Support the development of periodic audit committee reporting.
Team Management
- Lead, mentor, and develop the internal audit team.
- Ensure audit engagements are appropriately planned, scheduled, and conducted.
- Assign and review audit tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.

What you’ll bring
You’re someone who brings:
- Clear, confident communication (written and verbal), and the ability to breakdown complex ideas
- A collaborative mindset, working smoothly with cross‑functional teams to hit shared goals
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects without dropping the ball
- Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality work
- Adaptability – you stay sharp, productive and positive in fast‑moving environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Internal Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Professional certification such as CIA, CA(SA) ACA, CPA, CIA, or or CISA is preferred.
- Up to 8 years of experience of Internal Auditing in a professional services firm or in-house internal audit function.
- Demonstrated experience leading and executing regulatory audits, including assessing adherence to applicable laws, regulations, licence conditions, and internal policies.
- Expertise in managing a team and multiple projects simultaneously, with a track record of delivering on time and within scope.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills.
Desirable skills you’ve got up your sleeve
It would be great if you also have some the following skills:
- Familiarity with gambling regulations and compliance requirements in various jurisdictions, ensuring adherence to legal standards.
- Previous experience in the online gaming or casino industry, with a strong understanding of player behaviour and industry regulations.
- Experience with data analytics tools and techniques.
- Knowledge of the Global Internal Audit Standards issued by The Institute of Internal Auditors, USA.
