Date: Jul 31, 2026 Location: Start your journey with BCD: Grow, connect, collaborate and celebrate with our global team Manager, Training Delivery (Hybrid) Full time, Heredia, Costa Rica The Manager, Training Delivery is responsible for day-to-day management of the NORAM Service Center Training team members and the overall delivery of innovative, interactive and engaging learning experiences for BCD Travel employees. This position oversees the Training Specialists’ activities ensuring that the business outcomes for new business, technologies, procedures and performance improvements are met. Activities and delivered courses should directly support performance improvements to meet the collective organizational goals. The Manager is responsible for effectively creating, managing and implementing training programs including, but not limited to new hire, recurrent and new technologies or procedures. He/She oversees all department activities; ensuring training is innovative, interactive and engaging and meets the business objectives(s). This position researches and encourages the application of best practices and emerging research in the learning and development field. This role observes training delivery and evaluates training session results, providing feedback to both the Training Specialists and Director, Learning Delivery to ensure course objectives and performance improvements are being met. The Manager provides effective growth and development opportunities to team members and can lead training sessions him/herself as needed. He/she may also help to develop training materials that deliver a maximum impact to the audience. As a Manager, Training Delivery, you will Observe and evaluate Training Specialists during training sessions (virtual and instructor-led) Regularly meet with direct reports in monthly one-on-ones and conduct annual performance reviews Conduct live classes (virtual or classroom) to internal customers (travel consultants up to and including senior directors and peers) Evaluate performance, of both new and existing potential audience members and immediate team, identifying recommendations for additional learning opportunities to address skill gaps and takes the lead in developing with Curriculum Design and Development or otherwise implementing solutions Review classroom, after-class performance, and survey results to identify opportunities for adjustments for improved results (both self and course) for business outcome achievement Oversee the team’s projects, providing feedback and direction and ensuring all deliverables are met on time and on budget About you Prior experience in the travel industry, learning and development field, or call center Excellent skills on GDS Sabre and GDS Amadeus You have experience working with an LMS, minimally the loading of courses and basic reporting Intermediate understanding of the instructional design process (ADDIE). Can outline a storyboard and can apply learning techniques to reach stated learning and business outcomes Ability to work independently in a virtual environment, both independently and as part of a team to achieve desired results within stringent time frames Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Spanish What we offer you At BCD Travel, we work with highly motivated and passionate people.
