Job Description & Summary

M&A transactions are becoming increasingly complex, cross-border and time-pressured. Buyers and sellers need to quickly and reliably understand the key business drivers and value creation opportunities behind every deal. To respond to this growing demand, we are expanding our M&A Operations / Delivering Deal Value (DDV) team - a fast-growing part of the PwC Deals practice, working on synergy analysis, post-merger integration (PMI), carve-out/separation and operational due diligence (ODD) for both strategic investors and private equity clients across sectors.
We work hand in hand with other PwC Deals teams - Strategy, Financial Due Diligence, Regulatory, Legal and Tax - to give clients one coherent view and advice throughout the entire transaction lifecycle, often as part of international, cross-border deal teams.

We are looking for:

Manager

Your future role:

  • Leading the strategic planning and execution of complex post-merger integration (PMI) initiatives, ensuring seamless alignment and value realization,
  • Leading synergy analyses - identifying, rigorously quantifying and validating potential synergies arising from business combinations,
  • Leading the planning and management of divestiture and separation (carve-out) processes, ensuring operational continuity and risk mitigation,
  • Leading detailed operational due diligence to assess target businesses' operating environments and identify key value drivers and risks,
  • Supporting clients in communicating the quality, performance and strategic positioning of their business to prospective buyers, including vendor-side support in exit/sale processes,
  • Owning day-to-day relationships with individual members of the client team, acting as a trusted advisor,
  • Contributing to business development - preparing proposals, discussion documents and other go-to-market materials,
  • Onboarding, coaching and developing junior members of the team, supporting their growth towards Senior roles.

Apply if you have:

  • 6+ years of experience in operational and/or financial aspects of M&A-related projects - e.g. merger integration, synergy analysis, carve-out planning, operational/financial due diligence or operational change delivery, gained in consulting, corporate or PE portfolio roles,
  • Experience leading teams,
  • Strong financial analysis skills, with a solid understanding of key financial and operational value drivers,
  • The ability to quickly interpret large volumes of information and translate it into clear hypotheses and insights,
  • Excellent communication skills, in particular the ability to produce clear, high-quality written reports and present findings to senior stakeholders,
  • The ability to manage multiple workstreams independently and deliver under tight deadlines,
  • Confidence in working with senior stakeholders and building trusted relationships,
  • You demonstrate knowledge of new technologies and AI-based tools in your daily work (e.g. task automation, information analysis, content creation),
  • Fluency both in Polish and English.

By joining us you gain:

  • Work flexibility - hybrid working model (min. 2 days in the office per week), flexible start of the day, workation, sabbatical leave,
  • Development and upskilling - our full support during onboarding process, mentoring from experienced colleagues, training sessions, workshops, certification co/financed by PwC and conversations with native speaker,
  • Wide medical and well-being program - a medical care package (incl. freedom of treatment, physiotherapy, discounts on dental care), coaching, mindfulness sessions, psychological support, education through dedicated webinars and workshops, financial and legal advice,
  • Possibility to create your individual benefits package (a.o. lunch pass, insurance packages, concierge, veterinary package for a pet, massages) and access to a cafeteria - vouchers, discounts on IT equipment and car purchase,
  • 3 paid hours for volunteering per month,
