JOB MISSION:

Warrior Ice Arena home to the Boston Bruins Practice and Training Facility and serves high level hockey and skating competitions, local public programing, and internal hockey development. The goals and objectives of the Supervisor (Manager on Duty) / Ice Resurfacer Operator role is to work in

conjunction and report directly to the Facility Manager and Assistant Facility Manager to operate the Warrior Ice Arena effectively and efficiently.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Manage Guest Services staff during each shift

• Possess a commitment to providing top-notch customer service

• Operate ice Resurfacer

• Perform ice maintenance

• Take readings from ice plant.

• Report any issues/concerns to management.

• Facility maintenance & housekeeping

• Open and close facility

• Reconcile Cash Drawers

• Operate Point of Sale

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

• Attention to details of assigned tasks

• Ability to quickly identify challenges and respective solutions

• Ability to work nights and weekends maintaining a flexible schedule

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

• At least 1 year of Ice Resurfacer operating experience

• At least 1 year of Managerial Experience

• At least 1 year of Customer Service Experience

Warrior Ice Arena Only Pay Range: $19.55 - $24.40 - $29.30 Hourly (actual base pay varying based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, internal equity, geographic location, and more.)

Flexible Work Schedule

For decades we have fostered a unique culture founded on our values with a particular focus on in-person teamwork and collaboration. Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced “Work from Anywhere” (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year. This model will help us enhance our culture while continuing to maintain elements of flexibility.
