About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Paid Search Manager to join our central Digital Activation team, working on one of the world’s most iconic sportswear and fashion brands.
This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-profile international account, managing paid search activity across multiple European markets. You’ll take ownership of campaign delivery, working closely with clients, markets and wider activation teams to translate strategy into effective, data-led paid search campaigns.
You’ll be part of a collaborative European Digital Activation Hub, working alongside specialists across strategy, planning, audience insights, data, analytics and media operations, while overseeing the core buying team responsible for in-platform execution.
What you’ll be doing
- Own the delivery of paid search campaigns across multiple European markets.
- Translate strategy into clear and effective paid search activation plans.
- Manage day-to-day client contact and coordinate delivery across markets and internal teams.
- Oversee campaign build, quality assurance and ongoing optimisation across relevant paid search platforms.
- Ensure campaigns are delivered against agreed SLAs, objectives and timelines.
- Monitor performance against key metrics including ROAS, cost of sale and incremental revenue.
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve campaign performance and efficiency.
- Develop regular performance reporting, providing clear insights and actionable recommendations, rather than simply reporting on results.
- Oversee the core buying team to ensure high-quality campaign execution and optimisation.
- Work closely with wider teams including Audience Insights, Data, Analytics & Reporting and Media Operations.
- Support test-and-learn activity and identify opportunities to improve campaign performance through new approaches and technologies.
- Monitor tracking, feeds and other campaign dependencies, resolving issues proactively where required.
- Maintain campaign documentation, trackers and governance processes to ensure smooth delivery across markets.
About you
We’re looking for someone with strong hands-on paid search experience who is comfortable taking ownership of campaign delivery in a fast-paced, international environment.
You’ll ideally have:
- 4+ years’ experience in paid search / biddable activation.
- Strong hands-on experience with paid search campaign build, quality assurance and optimisation.
- Experience delivering performance-focused paid search campaigns, with an understanding of ROAS, cost of sale and incremental revenue.
- Experience managing campaign delivery across multiple markets simultaneously.
- Strong analytical skills and confidence working with data and Excel.
- Experience producing reporting that provides actionable insight and recommendations.
- A good understanding of third-party tracking and digital marketing technologies.
- Working knowledge of feed or catalogue management would be advantageous.
- Experience supporting or overseeing an offshore or core buying team would be beneficial.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to balance different client and market requirements.
- A proactive, solutions-focused approach and the confidence to identify and escalate issues early.
- Excellent spoken and written English.
- Additional European language skills would be desirable but are not essential.
