The ideal candidate brings deep healthcare revenue cycle expertise, strong financial acumen, and a demonstrated ability to drive results across multiple locations. They will also have an innovation-focused mindset and experience using technology, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve workflows, accelerate analysis, and strengthen financial outcomes. This is an individual contributor role that leads through collaboration, influence, and accountability rather than direct people management.

Monitor payment posting and reimbursement accuracy, identifying underpayments, discrepancies, and opportunities for recovery
Strengthen patient collections and outstanding balance resolution through effective center-level processes
Operational Execution & Process Improvement
Drive timely resolution of denied, underpaid, and zero-paid claims while addressing root causes to prevent recurring issues
Ensure timely and accurate billing by resolving documentation, coding, authorization, and charge submission delays
Develop and execute corrective action plans to address revenue cycle performance gaps and sustain measurable improvement
Identify opportunities to standardize workflows, improve operational efficiency, and strengthen revenue cycle performance across centers
Innovation, Automation & Technology Enablement
Identify opportunities to automate manual revenue cycle workflows, reporting, issue identification, and performance monitoring
Leverage AI-enabled tools and advanced analytics to identify denial patterns, payment variances, collection opportunities, and emerging financial risks
Evaluate and implement practical technology-enabled improvements that increase accuracy, reduce cycle times, and strengthen revenue realization
Validate automated and AI-generated outputs to ensure accuracy, compliance, and appropriate handling of protected health information
Translate successful improvements into consistent, scalable processes across the ASC portfolio
Center & Vendor Partnership
Partner with center leadership to establish performance expectations, resolve operational challenges, and drive accountability
Hold billing vendors and service partners accountable for service quality, timely issue resolution, and established performance standards
Lead recurring revenue cycle performance reviews with center teams and external partners, ensuring clear action plans and follow-through
Collaborate with Managed Care to resolve payer-related issues, including credentialing, contract discrepancies, and reimbursement challenges
Reporting, Analytics & Compliance
Provide accurate performance reporting, financial forecasts, and timely escalation of emerging risks to enterprise leadership
Analyze revenue cycle trends to identify financial exposure, prioritize recovery opportunities, and recommend corrective actions
Maintain clear documentation of performance issues, action plans, and resolution progress
Ensure compliance with applicable billing regulations, HIPAA requirements, and organizational policies
What You'll Bring
Progressive experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, including billing, accounts receivable, collections, denials, and reimbursement
Demonstrated accountability for revenue cycle performance, corrective action, and operational improvement beyond reporting and analysis
Experience managing revenue cycle performance across multiple facilities, business units, or client accounts
Strong understanding of the end-to-end healthcare revenue cycle, including registration, authorization, coding, claims submission, payment posting, and collections
Expertise in accounts receivable management, denial prevention, appeals, reimbursement analysis, and payment variance resolution
Proven ability to identify performance gaps, develop corrective action plans, and deliver measurable improvements
Experience interpreting revenue cycle performance data, identifying financial risks, and communicating actionable recommendations
Ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability across cross-functional teams and external service partners
Strong communication, collaboration, problem-solving, and financial analysis skills
Working knowledge of HIPAA requirements, healthcare billing compliance, and patient information protection
Demonstrated experience using AI, automation, analytics, or workflow tools to improve revenue cycle processes and financial outcomes
Proven ability to identify inefficient processes and implement practical, scalable improvements
